The Green Sunshine Smoothie

The perfect smoothie for a dreary day. This recipe will put a smile on your face and a pep in your step with its abundance of Vitamin C, healthy fats, and electrolytes.

I always have so much fun making concoctions like this one. Smoothies and smoothie bowls are such a convenient and delicious way to get your necessary nutrients everyday. I love them because of how creative you can be while making them, and they are great for getting rid of any unhealthy sugar cravings you may have. I hope you have as much fun trying out this smoothie recipe as I had making it. :)

What you will need:

(makes 2 servings)

1 kiwifruit

1 banana

1 pineapple

2 cups of frozen peaches

1 avocado

1 handful of spinach leaves

Coconut water

2 teaspoons of sunflower seeds (raw, unsalted)

3 tablespoons of chia seeds

1 tablespoon of hemp seeds

1 teaspoon of maca powder

3 tablespoons of vanilla protein powder

After blending the ingredients in your blender, enjoy it on-the-go in a cup or make a delicious smoothie bowl. Add extra banana, kiwi, pineapple, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, granola, etc. on top for extra flavor, color, and texture.
