Spring Break Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Whether your spring break is right around the corner or you are already vacationing somewhere sunny, this smoothie bowl is sure to put you in a good mood! When I think of spring break, I am reminded of the beach, citrus fruit, and bright colors, so these things are exactly the inspiration for this smoothie bowl recipe!
2 frozen bananas
2 handfuls of frozen raspberries
1/2 of a freshly peeled orange
1 cup of freshly chopped mango
1/2 tsp. of ashwagandha powder
1/2 tsp. of baobob powder
1/4 cup of dried coconut flakes
2 tbsps. of chia seeds
1 scoop of vanilla protein of your choice
1 handful of ice cubes
In order to get a deliciously creamy base, add the two frozen bananas and the orange half to the blender first and blend until you have an even consistency. Depending on your blender, you may have to stop and mix up the contents repeatedly or add a small amount of liquid such as almond milk, coconut milk, or coconut water. Next, add all of the raspberries to the mix, and this will give the smoothie that beautiful peachy color. After this has all blended properly, you can add the remaining ingredients of powders, dried coconut, chia seeds and ice.
If your smoothie is too thin due to adding liquid, try placing the mixture in the freezer for about 10 minutes before adding your toppings.
Once your mixture is ready, you can add any fun toppings. I added fresh kiwi and mango, chia seeds, and dried coconut flakes.
I hope you all have an amazing spring break. Take a lot time to relax, get some Vitamin D, and treat yourself with this amazing smoothie bowl!
